Sutherland House is owned and run by a local Scottish family, Robert and Aileen MacDougall.

The dining room provides the perfect setting for breakfast. The large front window gives guests the chance to view the boats and ferries travelling to and from the nearby harbour.

The ferry terminal, bus and railway stations can be reached after a 10 minute stroll along the Oban sea front. This makes the hotel an ideal base for those wishing to visit the Islands of Mull and Iona.
