Scottish
Sealife Sanctuary.
Nestling in a mature spruce forest on the shores of beautiful
Loch Creran, the Scottish Sealife Sanctuary enjoys one of the
most picturesque settings in Britain and is home to some of the
UK’s most enchanting sea creatures. In crystal clear waters you
can explore over 30 fas cinating
natural marine habitats containing everything from Octopus and
Sharks to Seals and Otters. Learn about the conservation needs
of seals and otters worldwide and at the same time, marvel at
the antics of Fingal and Sula the two Canadian otters. Open

Fishing, Walking, Gourmet Eating and
the Smokery Exhibition are just some of the great things
to do & see in this most beautiful unspoilt corner of Argyll.
The Fisheries & Angling School consists of 3 stocked lochs

The Smokery Exhibition gives a superb insight into the
traditional art of smoking fish as well as bringing to life, the

Cruachan Power Station, 'The Hollow
Mountain’ A gigantic man made cavern, 1 km deep inside Ben
Cruachan. The world's first high head reversible pumped storage
hydro scheme. Experienced guides will escort you into this
fascinating world. Visitor Centre includes an exhibition, shop,
lochside cafeteria and ample free parking. Open daily from

The Isle of Mull is a short step away from Oban, and very
easy to get to and from. The frequent ferry trips throughout the
day make it a great day out.
Mull is the third largest of the Hebridean islands and arguably
one of Scotland’s most beautiful. Read the Isle of Mull page
within this guide, for many specific details on what to do and
see. Craignure, Mull’s main ferry terminal, has a number of
attractions for those without transport. Bowmans tours are a

Tobermory has its own unique charm. The island of Iona is
reached from Mull, adding to its appeal.
