Getting to Mull couldn't be any easier, with Calmac ferry, which sails at regular intervals throughout the day from Oban to Craignure. An inexpensive way to get there is as a foot passenger on the ferry. Buy your return tickets at the Oban Calmac Office, which is next to the Railway Station in the town centre. Or if you would really like to explore take your car over on the ferry which allows you to see the whole Island.
There is so much to do on Mull, restaurants, shops, a theatre, boat rides, take a trip around a Distillery or watch cheese being made. Pete the Potter is always around at the Mull Pottery and you can view him at work. Mull is also home to Duart Castle the magical 13th century fortress, and Glengorm Castle.
You may decide to buy some lovely gifts from Phil at Mull Silver and Goldsmiths, or simply admire the lovely array of colourful buildings along the Tobermory bay. A wonderful day out with so much to see and do, you may decide to stay in one of the Hotels or B&B's and extend your visit with us in Mull. There are lots of nice places to eat, from lovely pub lunches, to fresh seafood, the world is your oyster !!
