Oyster Inn

The Oyster Inn overlooks the falls of Lora.  The hotel also enjoys magnificent views to the mountains of Movern and Mull and is strategically placed for visiting Argyll's main attractions. It was built originally in the 18th century to serve ferry passengers but the ferry has since been made redundant by the modern road bridge alongside the cantilever railway bridge of 1903.

The Restaurant caters for light lunches through to fresh caught daily delivered seafood.  Scones and cream, chocolate shortbread or fresh, moist cakes for afternoon tea are served daily.

Food is prepared with quality ingredients, drawing together  classic cooking techniques, with the ever finest seasonal ingredients at the Oyster Inn.  Each has its own style but the hallmark is the freshness and flavour.

We pride ourselves on our home made desserts which can be enjoyed on there own or with a glass of whisky from our range of over 60.

Our Chefs have a reputation for excellence and variety of the dishes they prepare which benefit from the finest, freshest produce from Scotland's larder and in particular from the west coast.
