Nestled on the banks of the Firth of Lorne, Poppies has spectacular views across to the 12th century Dunstaffnage Castle, the Islands, Mountains and beyond - the perfect backdrop to make your visit memorable. We have a large undercover Garden Centre which leads through to our Gift Shop and our Shore side Tea Room. Poppies Garden Centre is a family run business, located three miles North of Oban. Enjoy anything from freshly ground coffee, home baked scones, to a wide selection of delicious lunches. Amazing ocean views. Delightful location. 3.5 miles from Oban on the A85.
Opened early March 2010. Offering a range of Bedding Plants, Alpines, Roses, Camellias, Shrubs, Trees, Gardening Hardware, Pots, Furniture and more. In our Gift Shop we use British Designers, craftsmen and Artists where possible. Relax in our tearooms informal surroundings with its spectacular panoramic views of the Firth of Lorne, the Marina and Dunstaffnage Castle sitting directly opposite.
