Isle of Mull Buses.
This is the site for the Isle of Mull bus company with details of their regular bus service on the Island of Mull and their special coach tours around the Island.


Airports.

The major airports are all a reasonable distance away from Oban. In terms of some countries they are not that far away in comparison.

Glasgow Airport is approximately 2 hrs 30 mins away if you drive from Glasgow Airport over the Erskine Bridge (M898) up the A82 by passing Dumbarton, up Loch Lomond following signs for Oban.

Oban Airport -  has a small privately run airport, which is proving to be increasingly popular. For contact details.

Isle of Mull airport - Glenforsa airfield is for private plane owners and is situated on the north of the island, near Salen. There are no refuelling facilities, the nearest are at Oban airport. Ferries in the Oban and Mull area.

The main ferry to the Isle of Mull a short step away from Oban, docking at Craignure on the Isle of Mull. Click here for the ferry timetable.

The island of Lismore is another short ferry journey away from Oban and a great place to cycle, with virtually no cars and it is relatively flat. Click here for the ferry time table

The other alternative is to use the passenger only ferry to the Island of Lismore. At the north end of Lismore the passenger ferry operates from Port Appin, taking 10 mins to cross with bikes travelling 'free'. Click here for details.
