Oban Chocolates are made entirely by hand by our team of chocolatiers. Production times vary but we are generally making chocolates between late morning and early afternoon. We produce most days from Easter to October.
Our chocolate workshops run throughout the school holidays. Workshops last between 40 - 50 minutes and are suitable for primary school aged children (4 - 12 years old).
The workshops involve learning a little bit about the history and making of chocolate including a tasting of milk, white and plain chocolate. After being shown the factory and shop each child will make their very own Belgian chocolate truffles under the supervision of our trained staff.
Choose from our range of organic and fairly traded coffees. Enjoy an ice cream float, ice cream milkshake or towering sundae made with Mackies ice cream. Round it all off with a tasting plate of our handmade chocolates, a wedge of homemade cake or freshly baked croissants and scones!
Spacious and family friendly (toy box and changing facilities available) come and join us and watch the world go by.
